About skinfinal
skinfinal answers one question: for a given CS2 skin, how much money leaves your account, on which marketplace, and how old is that number.
Who is behind this
skinfinal is an independent project, not a company, and it is built by someone who plays CS2 and got tired of opening five tabs to check what one skin costs. It follows one rule: no number without the source it came from and the time it was read. No marketplace owns a part of it, and none of them has a say in what it shows.
What we do
We read public marketplace listings, convert everything to EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate, and print each price next to the moment it was read.
What we are not
We do not sell skins, hold skins, hold money, run trades, or operate any site where money buys a random outcome. We list only marketplaces that verify identity and pay out to a bank account or card.
We take no money from sites that sell a random outcome, and we do not link to them. A marketplace enters the comparison only if it verifies the identity of its users and pays out to a bank account or a card.
We only read public listings. No bots, no automated trading, no login into your account, no access to your inventory — nothing here ever touches your items or your money.
Why a comparison at all
The same skin is listed on several marketplaces at once and the prices drift apart. Opening each marketplace by hand takes longer than the difference is worth, so this site does it in one place and stamps every number with the moment it was read.
How we make money
Affiliate revenue share on what the marketplace earns from a sale. No advertising, no subscription, no sponsored rows, no accounts.
Rows are ordered by total price alone. A marketplace that pays us nothing still sits at the top when it is cheapest.

Where the data comes from
Public marketplace endpoints for prices, the public game catalog for names, images, rarity and float ranges, and the European Central Bank for currency conversion.
What is not finished yet

How often prices are read
DMarket, CSFloat, white.market, Tradeit, Avan.market, CS.MONEY are read by a scheduler, about once a day. Skinport is still read by hand and can be a day or more old. That is why each price row carries the moment that marketplace was read.
